Prince Sterilization Services to Host VH2O2 Sterilization Lunch & Learn at MD&M West

Prince Sterilization Services, LLC will host a technical Lunch & Learn at MD&M West in Anaheim, CA, on February 4, 2026, led by Derek Prince, PhD, focused on vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VH2O2) sterilization as an alternative to ethylene oxide (EtO) for medical device manufacturers.

The session, Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Medical Device Sterilization – Reduce Reliance on EtO and Derisk Your Supply Chain, will address the current landscape of VH2O2 sterilization together with the growing regulatory pressure, environmental considerations, and capacity constraints associated with EtO sterilization. Derek will discuss recent regulatory developments, including the FDA’s 2024 reclassification of VH2O2 as an Established Category A process and the publication of ISO 22441:2022, which lays the framework for process development, validation, and routine control.

Intended for product development, sterilization, and packaging engineers, the presentation will introduce the audience to the newest Category A sterilization modality – Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide – and cover practical considerations, including material compatibility, validation requirements, and risk management strategies to support the implementation of VH2O2.
